Contributing to Mahara

If you wish to contribute to Mahara, go for it! The code is freely available under the GNU GPL, and the developers are more than happy to help you out.

If you are developing something that you think could be contributed back to Mahara for inclusion later, get in contact with us early - we will be able to provide advice as to how to architect your work so that the chance for inclusion later is high.

If you are developing a language pack, get in contact with us for more information on how to go about this.

For now, the best thing you can do when you want to contribute is get in contact with us - we can provide advice and guidance.
