Roadmap

Mahara is currently at version 1.0.2

The Mahara Development Roadmap is shaped by the community and available resourcing. Items may be added and developed because, being an open source project, individuals and/or organisations may undertake development on features not mentioned below. Minor bug fixes are released as a matter of course with each new version of Mahara.

Version 1.0 - 1.5

There are three main themes for upcoming versions of Mahara

1. View Templates. Default or suggested lay-outs for particular types of Views. This could be along the lines of ‘Save Layout as'
2. Back-up, export and restore. This area is complex due to the potential of interoperability standards in the ePortfolio field. Options for interoperability standards will be explored as well as export formats and back-ups.
3. Reporting – initially general stuff at an enterprise or institutional level (users, # of logins, storage space, page views, Views created, page views per View etc.
