Hello All!

We've been running 1.04 on a Mac OS Xserver for a few months with no problems. We're interested in 1.1 with it's ability to use embed tags.

Couple a questions...

-Is there a rough estimate as to when we should feel confident to move over to the 1.1 release?

-Installation, ... save a copy of the mysql db, save copy of maharadata and mahara directory, move new mahara directory in place of the old main Mahara directory, visit admin site and click "Update" button?

You can feel confident to move when 1.1 stable is released - before that, we cannot provide support if you upgrade to a beta version and your site breaks horribly :).

You may even want to wait a bit after the 1.1 stable release, to make sure all the little kinks that are likely to be there are ironed out.

Installation instructions will be on the wiki, but yes you have the upgrade process right. The important thing being that you did save a copy of your database and dataroot directory :)
