Hi

I have been trying to integrate my mahara with moodle, according to the documentation here:

https://eduforge.org/docman/view.php/176/3200/Mahoodle.pdf

I was able to get it to work, but I notice that when you login to mahara and SSO over to moodle, your account is created on the second system. However, you need to login through mahara to get moodle authentication, you cannot login to moodle directly.

We have a student database and what I would like to do is register the students for their courses, and let them either login to the moodle site or the mahara site. I would prefer them not have to login to one and then link over to the other. Is this a possibility, has anyone done an integration like this?

thanks

Mark

Yes this is possible. I

Yes this is possible. I believe that PDF makes mention of 'parent' authentication, and uses LDAP as an example - have a read of that section carefully.
