Currently, you have to go to their profile pages and use the controls under their profile icon to add them to a controlled group. Sadly, that's not great for adding multiple users at once. There is a bug report filed for some kind of screen so users can be mass-added.
- When I add a Controlled Group, at the groups list i get this message below the group name
(ERROR - something bad happened after headers have been sent. Check the error log for more information.)
- If I try to add user to my Controlled Membership Group, I've got this message
(Fatal error: Call to undefined function activity_occurred() in /home/eportfolio/web/user/view.php on line 314)

on a Debian
php5 and postgres8
with alll recommended php settings and extensions
Quite soon, possibly in the next day or two. We don't know for sure, as we do them when we feel we've reached a logical point at which to do them. But I think we'll be doing one soon as beta 1 does have a few nasty bugs in it.
I've upgraded to beta2. The problem was an old theme for the mahara, what generated the errors.
